Tristan's love for visual storytelling started in country Victoria, growing up playing with an old handycam in the backyard. This was the perfect ruse for him to set things on fire, play around with special effects that were far from necessary and rope in any willing (or unwilling) actors or animals.
This love for storytelling continued anhe undertook an intensive directing course at Universal Studios, LA before continuing a career in media and communications and directing TVCs, online content or social spots whenever he has the chance.

Appearing in over fifty television commercials, short films, corporate videos and online campaigns as well as working with some of Australia's emerging directors on several feature films, Tristan has a passion for the scope and power of storytelling through acting.
Tristan studied acting under Emmy award-winning director Michael Laibson in New York City and undertook an intensive directing course at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. On set he is dedicated, professional and works hard to create believable character performances or to engage target audiences in a corporate video.
